Dr. Richard E. Ames
opened his first office in 1972
after graduating from Illinois
College of Optometry. |
 |
|
|
As he grew his practice he was
very active in the Wisconsin
Optometric Association, Oshkosh
JC’s, and Rotary International.
As the practice grew he took
over several other retiring eye
doctors’ offices in Oshkosh and
for several years had a practice
in Princeton as well. After
the Oshkosh office grew enough
to keep him busy, he sold the
Princeton practice and focused
his eye care in Oshkosh. Once he
outgrew the Oregon Street
location, the office was moved
to his current location on Bowen
Street. |

|
| In
2007 Dr. Ryan P. Ames joined the
practice and the name was
changed from Dr. Richard E.
Ames, Optometrist to Northshore
Eye Care. Very shortly after the
partnership formed, they opened
the door of their satellite
office in Omro. NSEC was very
excited to offer local eye care
to a community that has not
previously had any. NSEC is
committed to the Oshkosh area
and plans to continue growing
and providing the best eye care
in the community. |
